How we handle your information — and how to tell us to stop texting you.
Who we are
Powerhouse Contracting ("we", "us", "our") is a licensed general contractor serving New Mexico. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you contact us, request an estimate, or hire us, and what we do with it. It applies to this website and to the way we run our jobs.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, phone number, email address, and the address of the property.
- Project information: what work you want done, photos or plans you send us, measurements, and notes from site visits.
- Job records: estimates, quotes, change orders, invoices, warranty and permit records.
- Photographs of the property and the work, taken before, during and after the job.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card or bank account number.
- Website data: IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, through standard web logs and cookies.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare an estimate
- To schedule, carry out and warranty the work
- To invoice you and collect payment
- To contact you about your project by phone, text or email
- To keep the records we are required by law to keep, including tax, licensing and permit records
We do not sell your personal information.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your estimate, appointment or job. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. You can also call us at 505-977-0037 or email support@powerhousenm.com to be removed.
We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text-message consent with any third party for their own marketing. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Photographs
We photograph our work for job records, warranty documentation and quality control. We may also use photographs of completed work in our portfolio, on this website, and in advertising. If you would prefer we not use photographs of your property publicly, tell us and we will not — just email support@powerhousenm.com. We do not publish photographs that identify you by name or show your full address.
Who we share it with
- Subcontractors and suppliers working on your job, who receive only what they need to do the work — typically the address, the scope and a contact number.
- Service providers who run our systems: FullScope Pro (our business management platform), Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email) and Aloware (calls and texts).
- Authorities where required by law, or to obtain permits and inspections.
How long we keep it
We keep job records for as long as we need them to honour warranties and to meet legal, tax and licensing requirements — generally at least seven years. Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for up to two years.
Your choices
- Ask us what information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
- Stop marketing emails using the unsubscribe link, or texts by replying STOP

Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls that limit who on our team can see what. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
